For over 35 years, HHRAM has been the vehicle for stimulating education, invaluable networking, and a comprehensive compensation and benefit resource to hundreds of healthcare professionals. Just as a reminder, below are several other advantages to belonging to our organization:

• Region Meetings: Periodically the Region Directors hold meetings near your facility for the purpose of networking and discussing hot topics for human resources professionals.

• Continuing Education Programs and Seminars: Each Spring and Fall HHRAM sponsors a conference in various parts of the state. HHRAM members are invited to attend these conferences for the purpose of networking with peers and enhancing knowledge base in the area of human resources, benefits, labor and employment, etc.

• HHRAM Website: It contains announcements, job postings, legal updates, meeting minutes, newsletters, and other pertinent links. You will also find a member’s only discussion forum where you can ask questions to other human resources professionals and they can post their answers on the forum.

• Newsletters: HHRAM newsletters are published electronically for HHRAM members four times per year. They contain important information regarding HHRAM activities, news articles, financial reports, and other pertinent information.

• Surveys: HHRAM contracts with the human resources consulting firm of Van Norman & Associates to provide survey and compensation services for our organization. The surveys include the Healthcare Wage & Salary Survey with over 200 participating healthcare employers and over 290 job titles with comprehensive pay information. You are encouraged to participate in these surveys and purchase them at a rate discounted to our members.

• Committees: HHRAM is strong because of our members. You are always welcome to plan upcoming conferences, work on the salary survey or serve in a leadership position. Many members of HHRAM have found this to be a rewarding and valuable experience. Please contact Becky Thiesfeld if you are interested in getting more involved.
